Wealth Management Advisor

Professional

I hear you. Being a wealth management advisor isn’t about handing a client a run-of-the-mill financial plan.  And it’s not about having lots of conversations about money, or asking about your investment style.  It’s about having conversations with people.  It’s about family and dreams and legacy. It’s about understanding and hearing.  It’s about listening.  That’s what I do most: I listen more than I speak.  That’s because listening to my clients explain their wants, as well as their needs, is absolutely essential in understanding how I can best help them achieve their financial goals comfortably, and in the time span they want.

People are unique. They want different things out of their lives, so when I hear my clients talking about travel, or building a second home, or arranging for a grandchild’s college education, it’s my job to first listen, and then create and monitor a custom plan which not only allows them these opportunities, but also, a plan which takes into account their current lifestyle needs.  Yet, even moreso, it’s also my job to advise clients about the kinds of things they don’t want to think about: illness, premature death, disability.  I make sure your plan meets your and your loved ones needs for all that life hands you, both the good and the bad.

A good life doesn’t just happen. A good life is planned and created.  For over 14 years, I’ve been helping clients plan their dreams into reality.  In that same time, I’ve also been recruiting and developing my own team of professionals with whom I closely work.  Together, we pool our knowledge and expertise to develop and maintain meaningful, personal relationships with our clientele.  We want to impact your life positively.  We want you to achieve success, financially and emotionally. We want you to be happy.

CERTIFICATIONS & DESIGNATIONS

The CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification is one of the most recognized financial planning marks in the world. CFP® certification identifies to the public those individuals who have met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence when dealing with clients. The certification differs from an educational designation or state license in that it is based upon requirements that have been determined by extensive job analyses of actual practitioners in the field, and therefore, continue to evolve with the profession. The CFP® certification prepares the financial services professional for a career-long commitment to meeting the ever-changing financial needs of clients.

The Retirement Income Certified Professional® prepares advisors to help clients obtain a secure retirement. This designation equips advisors with the knowledge to effectively manage the transition from asset accumulation during a client’s working years to asset decumulation in retirement. RICP® enables the advisor to demonstrate tremendous value by delivering smart strategies for creating secure, sustainable income for a client's retirement.

The Chartered Life Underwiter® is the highest standard of knowledge and trust and the world's most respected designation of insurance expertise.  A CLU® can provide expert advice on a broad range of financial topics including life and health insurance, pension planning, insurance law, income taxation, investments, financial and estate planning, and group benefits.

The Certified in Long-Term Care® designation was created in 1999.  It focuses on the discipline of extended care planning.  It provides professionals the critical tools necessary to discuss the subject of longevity and its consequences on their client’s family and finances.  Professionals learn how to mitigate these consequences by developing a plan to protect their clients and their families.
